It’s Friday! Tour a Kennebunkport beachfront home, take a virtual vacation with a dreamy instagram account…and a BIG announcement!

It’s Friday! Another week has flown by. How is it already July? Here’s hoping the second half of 2020 is better than the first, but no improvements so far. Each week seems to bring a new calamity. I hope you’re taking care of yourselves out there, and finding some downtime to recharge from all the craziness in the world. Here’s my latest finds and what we’ve been into around here (including my big announcement from earlier this week!)

We’ve been spending a lot more time indoors this week with most afternoons being extremely humid and/or rained out, and thus a little more stir crazy than usual for quarantine. But we’ve been keeping busy with puzzles (dinosaurs, a map of the USA, and glittering unicorns, oh my!) and scratch art (princesses and animals are a hit in our almost 3-5 crowd).

Our garbage disposal was killed by a wedged fork, so we replaced that with a model that’s 20 years newer and so much quieter, and I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of our new handvac toddler mealtime cleanup savior. Our old one took a fall and now just pretty much has false starts, and it served us well but is no longer available in the bronze color we got it in. We keep ours on the counter in our laundry room next to the kitchen for easy access, so we decided to splurge on this slim new Shark Wandvac (UPDATE: apparently it’s out for delivery!!!) This new development has put me back in the mood for our requisite Friday glitter toss.

Look at this girl, wantonly dancing in a cascade of glitter confetti. You know what her relaxed vibe tells me? Girl has definitely got herself a reliable handvac to clean up that shindig.

BIG NEWS: If you missed the kid’s room design board I shared earlier this week, you haven’t heard the exciting news:

I’m launching a new online storefront right here on that will feature exclusives not available in the Etsy shop – including a return to pillow covers! Envisioning my digital scrapbook papers as pillows is what got me into textile design, and I am so excited to be jumping back into the pillow scene after taking a break to start our family. The store won’t be ready for another week or so. Check back for updates here, or on Instagram, or sign up for the newsletter to get updates in your inbox.

Home Tour: We’ve got a pattern filled home to celebrate this week, designed by Katie Rosenfeld & Company in Kennebunkport. Seriously, just about every surface is patterned or colored in this stunning home. I’m not normally a fan of pastel kitchens, but the blue in the kitchen has won me over. Take a look at this bedroom, and tour the house on the designer’s portfolio site.

Insta Inspiration: If you’re in as much need of a virtual getaway as I am, check out the dreamy instagram account of Clare Feldman, featuring luxury destinations and magnificent grand abodes. I mean, look at this pool in Positano! Instant relaxation.

That’s all I have for you this week, I’ll leave you to daydream about lounging by that infinity pool. Stay safe, be well. And stay tuned for pillow updates!
